Ways to Remember: Photo Albums and Lock screens
Ways to remember your person without needing lots of materials might include creating a photo album on your phone or device or setting your lock screen as something to remind you of them. These photos could be of your person, yourself, their favourite things, or even things you see that you know they’d have loved.
Every week, Annabelle used to speak to her dad on the phone to catch up about university sports and what had been going on that week. Now she can’t do that anymore, instead she writes him a letter and keeps all those letters in a small money box tin.
If you think you’d like to try changing your lock screen, you could either change your background when your phone is unlocked, or you could change your main background – it's up to you how you’d like it to look. If you don’t have a photo of yourself with your person, maybe you could take photos of things that belonged to them or something they’d have loved. Another thing Annabelle likes to do is take pictures of the sky and save them in an album. The connection doesn’t need to be obvious to other people and it could be something like Annabelle’s photos of the sky to remind you of them and make you feel happy.
